Hi,

my name is Nihel. My yoga journey began long before my asana practice. I've always been moved by the question of how we can truly connect body, mind, and emotions—all these aspects that seem to exist separately in the human experience. In yoga, I've found a way to reunite them.

I began my academic path in medicine, where I spent two years gaining knowledge about the human body. During that time, however, I became increasingly drawn to the psyche—the inner world, perception, the mental realm. That's why I'm now studying psychology in Berlin.

I incorporate elements of various yoga traditions into my classes: the powerful structure of Ashtanga, the calm presence of Hatha, and the creative openness of Vinyasa. For me, the focus is always on breath and active feeling—conscious inward connection. I also bring this integrative approach to my teaching: Yoga begins in the mind—in awareness, in attention—long before we even think about forms and asanas.

For me, the focus is on the whole person: body, mind, emotions – and also that which cannot be put into words.

Knowledge, creativity, and spirituality are not separate realms for me, but rather perspectives that nourish one another.

Yoga, for me, is the art of connecting these levels and feeling the link that has always been within us.
